Construction cost in DIK may range Rs. 1,200 to Rs. 2,000, depending on the type of construction. Normally construction is divided into 3 classes - A, B & C. It just gives one a rough idea of the total cost of a building. Again construction cost for ground floor is generally 20% higher than the first floor because of extra material in the foundations. However again it depends on the type of construction and building design. A building with more open spaces and ventilation may have reduced cost of construction but again if one is opting for Aluminium windows etc. the cost may again jump.
